I can't say enough how much I enjoy seeing people I went to high school with and photographing their children. I love the opportunity to talk and catch up on things, meet husbands and children, etc. I was excited when Megan emailed me about doing Jackson's portraits and was glad that Thursday's weather was perfect. We started of at the Rock Quary and I can tell you one thing for sure, I wish I had the energy that Jackson had....he was non-stop!!!! Here are my favorites from our session.
I think this was one of the few times he stopped running!!!
He is such a little cutie!
It seems the only thing that was making him smile was taking his juice cup and throwing it on the ground. He did this repeatedly and laughed every time. It was so funny. I told Megan that maybe I needed to get me some of those cups for my other sessions!!!!
We had to get a couple of mom and dad in them. Here's Jackson and his dad.....
and with mom.
I loved the little grin on Jackson's face as him and his parents walked through the gardens.
We then had a change of clothes and headed over to Cleveland Park for a few fun shots. I love photographing children at playgrounds.....there's almost always a smile on their face.
and blowing some bubbles with his mama.
I think this one is definitely near the top of my favorites list...I like Jackson looking through the tire.
I don't remember what Jackson was paying attention to but it appears to be funny!!!!
Megan, it was great seeing you and your family! I had fun photographing Jackson - the girls better watch out when he grows up!!!! Now if we could only figure out how to bottle that energy of his up and sale it.....LOL!
