Originally scheduled for Friday, we had to move Stacy's bridal portraits to Sunday because of the rain. I'm glad we did - Sunday's weather was perfect and we got some amazing shots of this beautiful bride! I wish I could post some images, but I have to wait until she's a Mrs.! For now, you get a peek at her gorgeous ring.....
and one of Marty's random signs that he finds while we're shooting!

Susan Smyre Bridal Portraits
So as most of you know it's one of my favorite things to reconnect with friends of mine I haven't seen in a while...or in this case about 11 years! Being on MySpace and Facebook makes it easy to find and keep in touch with those you went to school with....well, Sue - it's still hard for me to call her Susan - is one of those people. We went to middle school together and then she attended Southside High School for their Bachlorette Arts program. I think we figured out the last time we had seen each other was at a Chinese restaurant in Greer in 1997 when she had just returned home from a trip to Zimbabwe. Since then I hadn't seen her or talked to her until I found her on MySpace. When she got engaged this year I was so excited (and honored) when she contacted me to shoot her wedding.
Friday Marty and I met Sue at the Rock Quarry for her bridal portraits and I must say I absolutely love her dress. It is very unique and is perfect on her! We had a lot of fun catching up and I think I may have done more talking than shooting!!!!! Anyway, I can only give you a sneak peek......
There is so much about Sue that is unique and that I love. Her ring for starters....and all the details of their wedding day she has told me about...I can't wait for it to get here!
And Sue may kill me for this one but I have to! Instead of posting one of Marty's images (sorry!), I'm posting a picture of a picture I took in the 8th grade. If I remember correctly this was on the last day of school in our French class!
Sue I had so much fun at your bridal session! I can't wait until your wedding day!!!!

Megan Maher Bridal Portraits
So Wednesday Marty and I drove to Table Rock to shoot Megan's bridal portraits. Although it was a little warm, Megan did a great job at not showing it at all! We took several shots around the Lodge and then went to a field where we got some amazing shots! I can't wait to be able to show Megan the final results of her session, but all I can give you now is a small sneak peek.
Megan's beautiful bouquet was made from flowers they picked in a friend's backyard!
Now, I typically don't give a sneak peek of the bride at all, but I loved this shot and I hope Megan doesn't mind me putting it on the blog....if she does I will take it down. You can't tell it by looking, but we definitely gave Megan her workout for the day! I think it was well worth it!!!! Sorry Megan for making your legs hurt!
Megan, we had so much fun with you, your mom, and your friends! I can't wait until your wedding day...I know it will be a blast!!!!! You are going to make a gorgeous bride!!!!! :0)

Wendi McMinn Bridal Portrait
Thursday I was back out at the Rock Quary again for Wendi McMinn's bridal portraits. It was a beautiful day to match an even more beautiful bride. I can't say enough how stunning Wendi's dress was...but you don't get to see it yet! Here's all you get for now.
Wendi's mom came along to help out!
Even though Wendi was battling a stomach virus or some sort of bug, I'm glad she kept it to herself!!!!! Wendi I hope you are feeling much better and got some much needed rest!
Amanda Adams Bridal Portrait
Sunday before last (yes, I know I'm slightly behind still!) Marty and I met Amanda out at the Rock Quary for her bridal portrait. As always I can't show you anything yet....as usual, all you get is the ring shot....
And one from Marty who captured the guy who was serenading us!
Amanda I'm glad you had more fun than you expected to!!! LOL. The countdown is on...not much longer before your big day is here!

Dayna's Bridal Portraits
So on the sneak peek I didn't disclose the location for Dayna's bridal portraits because it was a surprise. Andy is a Clemson alumni so we started our shoot at Death Valley - although it was a little windy, we got some great shots!
This is my favorite one! I love this image!
