Melissa & John

Saturday we traveled to Union for Melissa and John's wedding. It's amazing to me how some of my couples I work with I feel like I've known forever. That was the case with Melissa & John. From their initial meeting with me I was so comfortable with them and it was great Saturday to get the feeling that you just fit right in.

Here's Chloe helping Melissa go over her vows while they were waiting their turn for hair and makeup. Melissa was pretty relaxed most of the day - Leslie, her maid of honor was a different story - she needed a little help to calm her down a little!
The bathroom the girls were getting ready in wasn't big at all. I'm not sure how many people were in there at one time, but I know at least a dozen at one point during the day! Here's what it looked like with everyone trying to get ready. Here's a close up shot of the dress...
...and the shoes.
Melissa has a beautiful wedding band to match her ring. They were on the ringbearers pillow and I couldn't resist getting a shot of it.
I think Leslie relaxed a little eventually - the girls definitely had fun while they were all downstairs getting ready.
I love Melissa's smile just as she was done with her finishing touches and ready to go.
Melissa and her mom waiting on the horses and carriage to pick them up.One last shot before they headed down to the ceremony.
A shot of the ceremony.
A shot of Chloe petting the horses.
Melissa and John had to wait a few minutes for the carriage to come back and get them, so I decided not to waste that time!!!!
I would like to give a big shout out to Ribault St. Catering. They did an excellent job on the food. My favorite part was the huge fruit tree. It was amazing watching them put the tree together and even better seeing the end result. The food was amazing!
I also loved John and Melissa's "Mad Hatter" wedding cake. It was very funky and tasty too!
Another ring shot, this time with Melissa's rock!
Everyone had a great time dancing along with Sam Brooks from Life of the Party and the music. It wasn't just the kids either!
I was able to get the newlyweds away from their reception for a couple of quick shots by the lake before all the daylight was gone. They turned out great!
One last intimate moment before leaving their reception. This was when John got a little emotional - it was very sweet and touching.
John and Melissa - thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your special day! Everything was beautiful and couldn't have been more perfect! I hope you two have a wonderful time in Cancun!

Also a big thank you to Farrah for going along with us and helping out - we greatly appreciate it!!!

Bridget & Timmy

Bridget and Timmy were married at Buck Creek Baptist Church in Chesnee and Saturday's weather couldn't have been more perfect for a wedding.
Timmy's mom helping him get ready.

Bridget's niece Alexis was an honorary bridesmaid. I love her blue eyes.

Brandy and Ansley waiting on the ceremony to begin.

Marty got some great shots of the ceremony from upstairs.

There's no turning back now - it's official!!!!

After the ceremony we took Bridget and Timmy outside for a few quick shots of them alone. The church had an awesome bell tower out front and I couldn't resist doing some shots there.

I think this is definitely one of my favorites.

Before heading inside to their reception, we got Bridget and Timmy in the field beside the church.
I love Bridget's expression trying to cut the cake.
Can't leave out the ring shot!

I'm pretty sure this is one of Marty's shots. She's got her bubbles ready!

The new Mr. & Mrs. Young as they left their reception.

One quick shot of the car before we left.
I hope Bridget and Timmy's honeymoon is as perfect as their wedding was!
