Maranda & Jeff

Monday evening I met Maranda and Jeff at Reedy River Falls Park for their engagement session. I got out of my car and the first thing I hear is thunder. We were so worried it was going to pour down rain. We headed down to the park but didn't stray too far away just in case there was a downpour! Luckily the rain stayed away and we got some great shots. I had a good many favorites from this session and here they are!

We started out on the bridge....
And then had a little fun playing around back in the corner.
A little editing fun...

Definitely one of my favorites....
Normally the guys absolutely hate having their picture made but Jeff, he didn't seem to mind too much!
I think his only complaint was Maranda's lip gloss....it was the tingly kind!
They are so cute together!
Yes, we stayed in this one area for a good many shots...there was no one else back there to bother us so it was perfect!
One more!
We finally came out of our hiding spot to a few more locations.
I love this column of bricks....
And one last one of these two on the rocks.
Maranda, it was so good to see you again and meet Jeff....I'm so happy that it didn't rain on us!!!!

Jessica & Matt

Wednesday I met up with Jessica and Matt downtown for a short engagement session. These two are getting married next month on a cruise - I'm so jealous I can't go too!!!! The weather was great and with it being a week day, we didn't have a problem at all with Falls Park being crowded!!! I think the very first image here is my favorite!
I love this bridge!
Jessica's ring is gorgeous!
And one last one!
I hope you two have a GREAT time on your cruise - I'm sure it will be amazing! And Matt - I hope the rest of your week was better than Wednesday at work!!!! It was great meeting you both!!!

Wendi & Ryan

Marty and I met Wendi and Ryan out at Furman on Sunday afternoon. It was a beautiful day and there were plenty of people out there!!! We couldn't have asked for better weather and I think we got some great shots. Here are my favorites...

I love the way the sun falls on Wendi's hair in this one.
With Ryan being a Furman alumni, we had to be sure to get the clock tower in some shots!
Another one that I love the sun in.
I met Wendi at the Wedding Festival last month. I really enjoyed talking with her about her wedding. It was great meeting Ryan too - he's too funny!
We finally made our way to the other side of the lake.....I think we broke up a football game when we went through one grassy area to get to the tree!A little fun in the grass - after searching for a place with no goose poop! This was a very neat tree....
A little fun with the sun and shadows.
Finally we ended up at the back of the rose garden on a set of steps....I love the color of the bricks in these two pics.
I couldn't resist getting a shot of Wendi's beautful ring!
We had a great time with you two walking around campus. June will be here before you know it!!!! We can't wait til your big day!

Laura & Kent

Saturday before last I met Laura and Kent in downtown Greenville for their engagement session. For it to be January we were very lucky that we had a beautiful warm day to shoot outside. These two were great together and very relaxed in front of the camera.

This my favorite shot of the day! I love the bricks behind them.
Got to get a ring shot in there! Marty came along with me for the session and found this great door just around the corner from where I was originally shooting. I love it.

I had a blast with Kent and Laura and can't wait for their big day in April!

Melissa & Clay

I met Melissa and Clay at Clemson University Sunday for their engagement session. It was the perfect location for these two alumni! We had private access to Death Valley so the stadium was ours. We started with the infamous rock.
The grass isn't as green as I wished it would have been - guess that what the cleats do to it.
Can you spot Melissa and Clay?
We decided to play in the seats a little.
After we were done at the stadium we headed over to the Tillman Hall area to take some more shots. I liked the big bell! This is definitely one of my favorites!
We then drove over to the Botanical Gardens and walked around there a little.
None of us had been there before and I didn't realize the gardens were so big. There were lots of various trails you could take.
I love the rock columns in this arbor....very pretty!Congratulations Melissa and Clay! We'll be seeing you in August and good luck with your house - you have a wonderful builder so I know the house will be outstanding!!!
