Saturday afternoon I was back at the Rock Quarry to meet the S Family for their family session. I was super excited to finally get to meet this upstate mom - she and I met on the UpstateMoms.com forum back before the end of the year and were finally able to meet in person. She wanted to do some family pictures but also wanted some for her daughter's first birthday. Let me go ahead and warn you this is going to be a long post because her little one was too cute!!!! Here is start of my many favorites!
Just like the day before, I was fighting other people and other photographers for places to take pics.....but we got in one spot and stayed there for the most part!!!! These three are so cute together!Little E did not want to get too far from her mommy at first!!!! She was keeping her VERY close!!!
I love it when Marty can go with me to sessions and shoot too - not only does it give him more practice behind the camera, but he gets a lot of good candid shots that I can't get being the main shooter! A couple more from Marty....I love this one he captured of E and her daddy. Her mom brought Bri by also - I love this shot of E getting a kiss from her!
While E was taking a short break, we decided to get a few shots of Bri in her beautiful white dress - she was very pretty! Bri gave her mommy some kisses too!
After E's break, it was time for a few more family shots! We were finally able to pry her away from her mommy!
I think I loved all their poses - LOL!
Bri was sitting on a rock patiently waiting. She knew what was coming up!
Her mommy had brought a cake and some balloons for E to have her first birthday session with. She looks a little excited!!!! Bri and E playing around a little!
Then it was time to go get the cake and balloons. E watched her mommy and daddy walk to the car and back. I took the opportunity to shoot a good many of E alone....occupied by an Easter egg, she was finally content to play a little. Look at those lashes!
I think the guys (and her parents) are going to be in trouble when she grows up!!!!
I couldn't get enough of her blue eyes! Now, I don't know what it is with the babies the past two days. They haven't paid much attention to me long at all. Who did I have to call to help me - that's right, Marty was able to get her attention without a problem. Maybe I should be worried!!!!
Finally it was time for cake! I love the color of the setting sun in these.
E knows how to eat cake - first, you check to see if anyone is watching..... Then cram!
These last three are Marty's images. He moved around a little more than I did, but I love how the light falls all around E and her cake!
Another angle of the cram!
And finally one last one.....
Mrs. S, it was soo great to finally meet you and your family! Little E is just a cutie pie and I hope I get to see her again soon!
