Alex & Paul Bishop

Alex & Paul came by for a visit with me today. I can't say enough how much I love photographing babies! Paul looks like such a big boy posing for the camera.

Alex also got in on the fun!
Then of course we had to have some of Alex by himself too.
After a visit with my dogs, we took the boys out to a nearby playground to have some fun!

I think they had a great time out there on the playground....I know I did - it's always a treat for me to shoot at new places!

Missy, your boys were great and I have to say that Alex looks like his cousin Andrew!!!!!

Myers Family

Laura and I met playing church basketball this year (for me it was more like trying to play). Today we went out to beautiful Reedy River Falls Park to photograph her and her family. Her little man is so cute and must have thought I was hilarious!
The flowers were so beautiful!I love this picture! The blue outfits look great and I couldn't have asked for better weather!
I think this has got to be my favorite...so sincere and serious! Jay's big blue eyes pop and you can't help but love those little bare feet!It was great to see you again Laura!!! Take care of that precious baby boy!

Noah Sullivan

Today I went to a farm in Blue Ridge to photograph Noah. It was so peaceful and quiet out there! Noah (and me) had fun petting all the cute animals! I took so many picture that I had a hard time narrowing my favorites down! There are several more I could have posted on here. The Amish barn was definitely a site to see, but what was inside really fascinated me! Not only a covered wagon, but an Amish carriage and tons of antiques for me "ooh" and "ahh" over!

Payton Crook

It seems like only yesterday I was taking pics of little Payton when she was only a few weeks old! Today I had the opportunity to see her again - this time for her 1st birthday invitations. WOW how time flies!

First we had some fun in the wash tub with the bubbles and ducks!

After the tub, it was time for some fun with the cake!

It was great to see Payton and her mom again! This shoot was so much fun...and we got to eat a little piece of cake after we were done! :0)

Greer Relief for Roses

Tonight I had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the Greer Relief for Roses Valentine's Ball. This event raises money for Greer Relief to help support the services the agency provides.
Not only did we take shots of each couple there, we also took some group shots!

The electric slide is always popular.
And of course everyone had fun dancing the night away!

I want to thank Suzanne Shennan for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this event. Mayfield Photography will be donating 10% of all package sales to Greer Relief.

Kaitlyn Bunch

Kaitlyn visited me today to have her pictures made for her 1st birthday party invitations. Her dress was adorable! Here are some of my favorites:

Ayla's Sweet 16 Party

Ayla's Sweet 16 party was a blast! The Davenport in downtown Greer was a great place to be to celebrate Alya's birthday!

The Mardi Gras decorations were fabulous and the cake was stunning!
The birthday girl led the dancing party line around the dance floor!
The dancing continued all night long!

The night ended with letting the balloons go, and popping a few!

Ayla's Sweet 16 invitations

In a few weeks, I have the wonderful opportunity to shoot Ayla's Sweet 16 party. Back in November I posted a sneak peak for you. Ayla wanted her invitations to be a surprise to everyone when she handed them out after Christmas break. I don't blame her...I love surprises! Anyway, here is a copy of the invitation and some of my favorites from the photo shoot!

Some things I couldn't show you before Christmas!

Okay, so some things I couldn't post on here before Christmas, due to the fact that they were going to be used as Christmas gifts. However, now I can!

I have to admit, I was a little worried when I got first email from a lady named Teresa wanting some pictures done for gifts. She told me she was a fifty-something year-old who is not very photogenic and wanted something of her with a red rose in the picture. So, of course right off the bat my mind is going crazy trying to think of what I'm going to do. I mean, I'm used to chasing little kids running around....having to lay on my stomach or whatever other positions I need to in order to get a great shot. Needless to say Teresa turned out to be great to work with and the pictures turned out wonderful! There was no need at all for me to worry! I hope that her family treasured their gifts, after all - you can never go wrong with giving pictures!

Catching up!

Okay, so I let my blog get WAY behind! I was slammed with pictures before Christmas and was busy getting those done so everyone would have their prints back in time to give as gifts.

Anyway, I will be working on posting my favorites from everything I've done since the last blog entry. They will all be below this post because of the dates the pictures were taken, so check back soon and often and look down below! There are a good many sessions I haven't posted on!
