Today we met up with Jay & Julie at Reedy River Falls Park. Altough the weather was beautiful it was still a little hot when we first started so we stayed in the shade to try to keep as cool as we could.
These two didn't need any time to warm up to the camera...they were comfortable from the start!
I love shooting on this bridge...however it is right behind a stage that is set up in the park. I'm sure some of the people watching the play got to watch us too!
I think this may be one of my favorites from today.
Of course I had to get a few shots of the two smooching!
We had hoped to get some more pics in front of the falls, but with the crowds of people that visit the park on the weekends, sometimes it is almost impossible. We did manage to get a few though!
I figured I should post at least one black & white on here...this one is on yet another bridge that I like downtown!
And one that's a little more close-up of these two...

Sarah's Bridal Portraits
Friday Marty and I met Sarah and her crew out at the Rock Quarry for her bridal portraits! What can I say, she brought LOTS of help with her!!!! After helping Sarah with her finishing touches, these two found the a spot on the rocks to watch.
As you know, since these are bridal portraits, I can't post them until their big day....but just to give you a small peak...
Sarah was really fun and up for just about anything! We got some amazing shots for her bridals - I can't wait to post the edited pics online for Sarah to see.
It was really nice to meet Sarah, her mom, and the rest of the crew that came along. We can't wait for the wedding day to be here!

Jennifer & Paul Engagement Session
On Sunday afternoon Marty and I headed out to Clemson to meet Jennifer & Paul for their engagement session. It was great to get to shoot somewhere I haven't been in a while.
We shot at several places on campus and I had a very hard time picking my favorites to post one here. I'm probably going to post too many because I couldn't narrow them down!
I wanted to be sure to incorporate the stadium into a few shots - that is where Paul popped the question to Jennifer!
I normally don't post Marty's favorites on here, but today is an exception. Here is one that he liked.
Now I have to give kudos to Paul....he was great with the camera. I love this passionate kiss he gave his bride-to-be!
Even though I'm not a Clemson fan, I had to take advantage of this tiger paw!
We finally got to go out to the Walker Golf Course and let Jada and Ryan play around in the grass. We even got them in on some shots too! They are just too cute!
We really enjoyed meeting Jennifer and Paul - they were so much fun to be around! We'll see you in October on your big day! :0)
Miss Grayson
On Sunday, Grayson came by for her newborn session. She was such a great baby! Can you believe I had 2 newborn session in the same weekend - I love photographing babies, so that was a treat for me! Anyway, Grayson kept making me laugh - she would hold her fists up at me like she was ready to fight! I was beginning to think I had entered a boxing match! :0)
Katie & Dan
Marty and I met up with Katie & Dan in downtown Greenville Saturday evening. I don't think there could have been more events going on - a Drive game, couples taking prom pics, a free Kevin Costner concert, a play at Falls Park, and the Greek Festival - there was hardly an empty parking space anywhere! Even with the crowds, we managed to find some places to get some great pics of these two! Here are some of my favorites...
Although you can't see it in this shot, I love the new train engine coming out of the tunnel at the water fountain.
There's something about this door that I like....
I thought Katie was going to kill me for making her get up on an old fallen down tree barefooted, but she didn't!
It was great hanging out with you two again! At least this time my feet weren't hurting quite as much as last time! Maybe we can get together more often!
Zack's Little League game
Saturday afternoon I was able to get a pretty good start on a farmer's tan! I was shooting at a little league baseball game and it was hot and very sunny! This is Zack behind the plate in action!
Trying to cool down a little!
The Zack-Man in action again!
Zack is the son of one of my co-worker's and the team they were playing Saturday had the son of another co-worker of mine, so I took some shots of Little Eddie while I was there too! I love how you can see the dust coming off of his mitt in this one.A close play at home plate....SAFE!
Chapel-Anne
Angela it was great to finally get to meet your beautiful angel! I hope I have the opportunity to watch her grow up!!!!!

Gracie's Dance Recital
Saturday night Marty and I went to Furman for Miss Gracie's dance recital. Although we have only been friends with her and her family for about 2 years now it seems like it has been a lot longer than that. It still seems really weird to meet someone that you have so much in common with.
Anyway, the last dance performance I went to before Saturday was back in high school when Misty, one of my best friends, was on a championship clogging team. Needless to say the night brought back memories of me going to watch her compete.
Here's Gracie waiting in line for the doors to open. What do you do to occupy a three-year-old who's getting restless? You try to get him to make mean faces at the girl holding the camera!
Here's Gracie getting her finishing touches before going on stage!
And what if the three-year-old gets even more restless inside? You make silly faces!
Or you can always just smile!
Here's all three of them right before Gracie hit the stage!
After the show, Gracie had an armful of flowers...and got a hug from her cousin Paige!Gracie you did great at your recital! Marty and I are very proud of you!

All-in-one session
Today Angela and her family came over for an all-in-one session. We started by taking some shots of Mackenzie in her dance outfits. Then we got Angela and Gerry alone for a few pics, then Blake and Mackenzie joined them for a family portrait. After a stop at Mythos for lunch, we finished our session at Herdklotz park where we took some shots of Blake for his birthday party invitations.
Here is Mackenzie in her one of her dance costumes showing a little attitude!
And the second costume!
Here's Angela and Gerry....
...and then the whole gang! Herdklotz is a new park that has just opened up. It's on the site of an old tuberculosis hospital, but you would never know it. The park is really nice and has a huge playground.
Tired of being bored at my house while Mackenzie was doing her session, Blake was excited to get to play.
He looks so grown-up in this shot.
And here's Mackenzie having some fun on the rock wall.
We had fun going to the park with all of you! Maybe next time we'll have more time to play! :0)

Kerrie Ford Bridal Portraits
On Sunday I went to downtown Spartanburg to shoot Kerrie's bridal portaits. Kerrie was so laid back and really easy to work with. She looked amazing and as much as I wish I could show her portraits, I can't until after their wedding! This is the ONLY peak you get until their big day!
It was great meeting your mom Kerrie! I hope that you two enjoy the end result of the shoot -- just don't let Jerry see!!!! :0)

Miss Relay for Life Pageant
I had the opportunity to take portraits for the girls in the Miss Relay for Life Pageant at Northwood Baptist Church in Greer this past Saturday. Congratulations to all the winners - and thank you for being a part of an event to help raise money for a great cause. All the girls were very beautiful!!!
For those of you who know me know I gravitate towards the children when I am behind my camera. I can't explain why - that's just the way it is. So naturally, here is my favorite contestant who stopped by to have her portrait made...she is just too cute!
Congratulations everyone and keep on raising money to help support Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.

It's a Prom Thing winner!!!
To help raise money for our Relay for Life Team, Kaye Marie's Bridal and Formalwear in Greer sold raffle tickets for "It's a Prom Thing!". The package consisted of things a girl would need in order to prepare for her prom night including a portait package donated by us! Mackenzie was the lucky winner and yesterday she stopped by with her prom date to have their portrait made on the way to prom.
I definitely like close-up shots! These two look great together!
And here are their gorgeous flowers!
Congratulations Mackenzie! It was nice meeting you and I hope you two had a wonderful time at the prom!
