Cohen's Birth Announcement

Kelly wanted me to wait until she had sent Cohen's birth announcements out in the mail before I posted them on the blog. Well, I did and then completely forgot all about posting it! Anyway, it's a few weeks later than it should have been but here it is....

Baby Reese

Baby Reese stopped by yesterday for a newborn session. This little girl was adorable and did a great job!
I loved her monogrammed bloomers!
Cute little lips!
I just noticed her eyes are closed in every single one of my favorites! I think they are barely open in this one, but from the angle I'm at you can't tell that.

I finally decided to start trying to do something new with every session. I made this the night before and decided to try it out....I still need to add more petals to it. I ran out of petals the other night, but I wasn't complaining...especially not after I burnt my finger with the glue gun!
Valerie didn't know she was going to be in on the pics, but once I saw her black shirt, decided to ask if she would mind! I think it turned out great!
Valerie it was great meeting you and talking a little bit! You have such a sweet little girl!!!! Congratulations!

The Clark and Eller Famillies

Thursday Marty and I traveled to Piedmont for a session with the Clark Family at Brandi's parents house. It ended up turning into a session for the whole family with Brandi's parents and brother joining in. It was so great to shoot in a new location and have some fun with these guys. Here's a few of the whole gang!
Then just Doug, Becky and their grandkids.
Then just Brandi, Larry, Matte and Grady. When we got done with the groups, we turned around and Grady was sitting on the steps like he was waiting to have his picture taken.

A little brotherly and sisterly love with the little kids...
and the big kids!
Brandi's dad has this '69 Chevy truck and we were able to use it for some shots too. I think these ended up being some of my favorites!
Then we headed around to the back of the house where this awesome rock wall is around the swimming pool. First Grady...
then Matte!
Larry and one of the dogs! Then it was time for some swimming pool shots.....
Now, I will have to say this was a first for me. The kids were wanting to jump in the pool with their clothes on. So, the whole family decided to do it together. Too funny! I loved it.
Brandi it was great to meet you and your family!!!! We had fun meeting you guys and watching you all in the pool!!!!

Emily Schmidt

Emily came by Sunday for her six month session. It's hard to believe how fast these babies grow up - it seems like just yesterday I did her newborn session!

Anyway, I think she's gotten a little cuter since then!
We got at least one big smile out of her!
This was my favorite outfit - it was so cute!

I don't think she knew what to do with the feathers - I think they may have been a little strange to her.
Emily had a trip to the lake before her session and by the end of her session I think she was getting a little tired - look at those eyes!
Brandy, it was great to see you, Emily and John again! Your baby is growing up, but still as cute and precious as ever!!!!

Now that Melissa's big day has passed, I can post a few favorites from her bridal portrait session.
